| Travel to Ghana requires a visa which must be obtained in advance from a Ghanaian embassy. Additionally, everyone entering the country, including Ghanaian citizens, must carry a yellow immunization card with at least a yellow fever registration. Transportation to the Pentecost Convention Center will be arranged from the Kotoko International Airport beginning on September 24. Transportation back to the airport will commence on the 29th. The opening ceremony of Ghana 2013 will be on the evening of the 25th and the closing cermemony will be on the evening of the 28th. Since the Pentecost Convention Center is located at the outskirts of Accra it is recommended that delegates stay at the convention center itself, which has suitable accomodation for over 1,000 people. |
